New Summer Workshops at Red Brick!

Art in the Park: Paint or draw outside and enjoy the fresh air. Find out the secrets to painting on location and experience the joy of creating art from life. We will be painting both natural and man made subjects and learning what not to paint.
Saturday, June 26th 2-5pm $49 each

Let’s be Negative: This workshop will teach you how to make you painting much more powerful and interesting by painting around shapes instead of painting shapes. We will explore the other side of creating contrast that will make your subjects come to life.

Don’t blow this Workshop: Paint exciting watercolors without using a brush! Using an atomizer you’ll learn how to create beautiful graphic art using transparent watercolor. This technique can also be combined with many traditional watercolor styles.

All of the Above: What do you get when you combine wet-in-wet, negative painting and spray? A great looking watercolor painting that will motivate you to try new cominations of traditional techniques. Realize your potential!

Catch a wave: Learn how to paint a wave in an easy 4-step process. You’ll learn how to make a wave behave and give it that shimmery glow that moving water demands. We’ll even use an electric eraser. Surf’s up so catch this wave!
