Let There Be Light

Hi there... Going back to my roots as a graphic designer I decided to try a dark - light balance (notan) to fill my watercolors with light. I actually design and paint my darks first using waterproof India ink. This gives me my design and my dark and light/white shapes. All I have to do to complete the process is to paint the mid-tones in a palette of my choice.​ What a concept! Video coming soon!
